Concrete Calculator

Find out how much concrete you need. Enter each measurement in the unit you know.

Calculate your concrete

Choose a unit beside each measurement. You can mix feet, inches, metres and centimetres.

Choose mortar for jobs such as bricklaying or plastering. Mortar is not a substitute for structural concrete.
Choose the ratio specified for your project. This estimate does not replace an engineer's mix design.
5% is a starting estimate. Adjust it for your project.

Please note: Material quantities are estimates. Concrete uses a dry-volume factor of 1.54, while mortar uses 1.33. Cement quantities assume a density of 1,440 kg/m³ and 50 kg bags. Estimated sand and stone weights assume bulk densities of 1,600 kg/m³ and 1,500 kg/m³ respectively. Actual requirements may vary with material properties, moisture, grading and compaction.

Important: Cement mortar is generally used for bricklaying, masonry and plastering. It is not a substitute for structural concrete. Always follow the specified mix ratio and consult a qualified professional for structural work. This calculator does not determine structural safety or provide an engineered mix design.
