Important Tips for Better Results

  • Always enter quantities from your original recipe, not the quantities you want after scaling.
  • Use the same unit as the original recipe. The scaler adjusts quantities but does not convert between measurement units.
  • Adjust salt, chilli, spices and seasonings to taste, as they may not need to increase in exactly the same proportion.
  • Cooking time does not necessarily increase or decrease in the same proportion as ingredient quantities.
  • For baking and other recipes that require precision, follow the original recipe's guidance and check the results carefully.
How scaling works:The scaler uses your desired servings divided by your original servings to calculate a scaling factor. Each ingredient quantity is multiplied by that factor. Results are mathematical estimates of ingredient amounts, not a guarantee of identical cooking results.
